Kinnaree Resort Bophut, Bophut

We ended up at this hotel after our original booking fell through, and honestly, it turned out fine. For the price, we enjoyed a clean bungalow right on the beach with air conditioning, which made our stay comfortable. The area isn't exactly pristine, with a few unsavory characters around, but if you're looking for a budget spot close to the water, this one works. Just keep your expectations in check regarding the overall atmosphere and amenities.

I chose this hotel for its great location, just perfect for catching the early ferries to Koh Phangan. The team was incredibly welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. Although the beach wasn't the most beautiful I've seen, hearing the sea from my room at night was a lovely touch. Overall, it was a good value for money, though the bathrooms could use a bit of improvement in ventilation.
